I am joining Team MSAA for the Disney Wine and Dine Half Marathon Weekend with the intention of raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.
Every day, people with MS live with unpredictability. They may face unbearable fatigue, balance and mobility issues, numbness, difficulty walking, heat sensitivity, blurry vision, or any others in a long list of symptoms. No one knows what causes MS and there is no cure. But with your support, there is help – and hope – for anyone affected by MS.
MSAA improves the lives of tens of thousands of individuals with MS, their families and their care partners each year by providing free, vital programs and services such as: a toll-free Helpline; equipment distribution and donation; educational programs and activities; MRI funding; a resource database with easy to use app for locating resources; educational videos and research updates; award-winning publications including a magazine, The Motivator; S.E.A.R.C.H.™ program to assist the MS community with learning about different treatment choices; and more.
MS has touched the lives of my family and friends. My aunt Judy Rudins passed away in 2006 of complications related to MS after decades of battling progressive symptoms, and my aunt Nancy Rudins passed away a few years later while managing her relapsing-remitting MS. I have friends, colleagues, and former teammates affected by MS who have benefitted from MSAA's free services and support. I understand exactly the incalculable value of MSAA's programs and I hope you help me in my quest to help fund their vital mission.
Your support helps make possible the free programs and services offered by MSAA. Please consider contributing to my fundraising goal and help improve lives today!
