The COVID-19 pandemic has caused great uncertainty for those living with multiple sclerosis. Heightened concerns exist regarding the impact of immunosuppressive treatments on the vulnerability of people living with MS. Furthermore, soaring unemployment with loss of medical insurance is leading to true hardship.
The Multiple Sclerosis Association of America has had the back of people living with MS for 50 years. I am proud to have served as a member of the Board of Directors for 4 years including as an Executive member and Chair of the Development Subcommittee for 4 years.
I am joining Team MSAA for the 50th Anniversary Challenge with the intention of raising money for the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America.
MSAA improves the lives of tens of thousands of individuals with MS, their families and their care partners each year by providing free, vital programs and services such durable medical equipment, cooling vests, free MRI scans, helpline, online community, educational programming and online support.
Your support helps make the free programs and services MSAA offers possible. Please consider contributing to my fundraising goal and help improve lives today!
