Swimming Rewards – Honoring a Special Swimmer

You may remember Team DragonFLY Captain, Courtney Evers, who was inspired to start her own Swim for MS event in honor of her mother, who was diagnosed with MS in 2005. Says Courtney, “I kept seeing the Swim for MS event on the site and knew it was something I could not only do for my Mom, but that she could be a part of too.” After captaining swimmers across the United States for her annual Swim (in total over the years, her Swim for MS involvement has raised more than $7,500!), Courtney has earned the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal! “The Swim for MS part of my MOVSM was by far the most meaningful, because it was something that really ‘hit home’.”
