Congratulations to Julie Lyons for being our top Swim for MS Fundraiser for the month of February!
YOU could be the top Swim for MS fundraiser during the month of March! Register to swim this month and we’ll reveal the top fundraiser of the month in our next Swim for MS email.
Our March featured swimmer is also our top fundraiser, Julie Lyons. This year, for Julie’s birthday she decided she wanted to host a Swim for MS pool party this upcoming weekend at her local pool in honor of MSAA and MS Awareness Month.
Julie is living with MS and started to swim to not only improve her strength and endurance, but also her spirit. She easily surpassed her original goal to swim one mile (or 1,650 meters) and fundraise $1 per meter – for a total of $1,650! Make sure to get in the pool this weekend, and join others like Julie and her friends who are raising awareness during MS Awareness Month!
