Swim for MS News - January 2017

Featured Fundraiser – Léman Manhattan Preparatory School

This month’s featured fundraiser is the Léman Manhattan Preparatory School who has incorporated Swim for MS into their school-wide community service initiative! Starting January 9th and ending on January 13th, students will be swimming during their regularly scheduled classes and helping raise funds for the MS community!

“Our students are pumped and are ready for the challenge, and our generous and engaged community of parents, faculty and administrators are lending their support to this important service project,” said Mrs. Jo Ann Calvanico, Physical Education Department Chair at Léman Manhattan Preparatory School.

Polar Plunge Fun

Every year on January 1st, brave souls meet in Atlantic City, NJ to ring in the New Year and support the MS community by taking a quick dip into the Atlantic Ocean. This year, hundreds of people participated in the Atlantic City Polar Bear Plunge and helped improve lives today. We would like to thank everyone who made the event possible and fun for all in attendance!
